Dark Room Practice
William Henry Fox Talbot
William Henry Fox Talbot is known as a pioneer in photography and a prominent scientist. He was also known as part of the British Parliament.
He also discovered the processes of developing, fixing and printing.
The idea o it first came in 1833, while visiting Lake Como in Italy, his lack of success at sketching the scenery prompted him to dream up a new machine with light-sensitive paper that would make the sketches for him automatically.

The two images below are the negatives I used to produce my final pieces of work from the dark room. They are simply the black and white, inverted image of the original to create the positive image.
These new two images are the final outcomes of the dark room practices, I chose the image of myself to be the larger print, yet I'm also very happy about the practice photograph also due to the face it was clear, despite some damage that had been caused to the paper.
Both of these images turned out really good and I think they were okay for my first time trying Dark Room prints.
