Peter Kaaden:
NAAKED
Peter Kaaden is a German-based photographer who primarily does portait photographs.
His style in his other projects follow a very 'fashion photography' style.
In this project titled 'NAAKED', all of the photos seem to have saturation reduced. This style of photography is quite pale and abstract due to the close up shots.
The two photos displayed above are probably the two most abstract photos within this project due to the fact you don't know which body parts they are for certain.
Due to the closeness of the photographs, you can see the imperfections on the subject's skin and teeth.
The top photo of the mouth is almost unpleasant to look at due to the fact it is a mouth full of saliva.
With this shoot from Kaaden, a lot of the colours blend together easily as they range from pale nude to deep oranges/reds. With this put in place, many people will wonder where they are looking on the model's body, unsure of if they're looking at an arm or leg or something else.
